Acts 6:8 - 8:3

As Christ goes, so the church must follow. Until now in the story of Acts, that phrase has meant service and limited sacrifice. It has meant submitting to the spirit of God and the journey that happens as a result of that submission. In general, this fledgling church is happy, needs are being met, leaders are rising up to do their share....things are going well. But, as Luke shines the spotlight on Stephan, the life of the church is about to change forever and following Christ will take on a whole new depth of meaning.
