Through opposition, beyond miracles, the Missio Dei [Mission of God]
continues. God extends his love to a people who were not considered
a people by some. He uses his Jewish followers to bring his message
even to a leader in the army that occupied them. It takes a message
from God Himself to teach Peter what God desires. The boundless love
of God in Christ makes brothers of strangers and enemies. God sends
his often reluctant and ignorant church as the bearers of this love.
